Growing as many fruits and vegetables as we can in our low desert environment, with close to 60 days of 100 degree weather, then over 22 inches of rain spread over the late fall and winter, with temperatures down to freezing. It's a challenge!
In Citrus Heights, California, we have two seasons: Rain, and Hot. Lots of both. It makes gardening both interesting and difficult. But in the end, it's all worth it!
